Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Five or more years of experience as a licensed industrial millwright, ideally in the printing, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries.
- Monitors and performs preventive maintenance to ensure cost-effective maintenance and adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Repair equipment, utilities, and systems as directed by the supervisor.
- Always follow all safety protocols and report any potential safety concerns to the site safety team and maintenance supervisor.
- Replace motors and starters.
- Reset overloaded circuits and replace blown fuses.
- Troubleshoot and repair cords, simple wiring, and other minor electrical faults.
- Repair of the machine structure
- Replace equipment as needed.
- When possible, rebuild pumps, motors, and other advanced equipment.
- Cutting and welding
- Routine machining
- Change of seal
- Bearing replacement
- Minor change
- Pump replacement
- Instrument calibrations
- Ability to properly troubleshoot electrical fundamentals and electrical control systems
- Create and execute fabrication tasks.
- Perform facility and maintenance tasks when required.
- Perform preventive maintenance and record results.
- Select and order repair parts.
- Understand internal utility systems (steam, compressed air, clean water, etc.)
- Assist production in case of any equipment issues.

Skills, knowledge/experience required to perform the job:
- mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and heating and ventilation systems.

When repairing machinery or equipment, it is important to maintain mental and visual focus for long periods.
Physical exertion to complete work
A lot of walking and standing is required. Requires moderate bending and lifting (ie up to 50 lbs). Ability to work in confined spaces and around operating machinery. When operating a forklift, scissor truck, or performing mechanical operations, finger/hand dexterity, and dexterity are essential, as is hand-eye contact.
